Our boutique family office is seeking a versatile professional to join our team as a Compliance Associate & Office Manager. This dual role will focus on compliance duties, particularly Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) processes, while also managing day-to-day office operations.

    • University degree with 1-2 years of experience in banking or financial services

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field

    • Advanced level of English and Mandarin

    • Strong organizational and multitasking skills

    • Proficiency of Microsoft Office Programs

    • Understanding of KYC, AML, and relevant financial regulations

    • Self-motivated with the ability to think through problems, learn about the business, use own judgment and be assertive

    • Strong analytical skills and ability to work in a fast paced environment

    • Team player with good communication skills – verbal and written

    • Fast learner, adaptable and comfortable operating in a fast paced environment

    • Performing administrative duties, data entry and conflict searches for new clients/matters

    • Analyzing conflict search reports, maintaining compliance documentation, and updating information

    • Conduct and prepare Regulation Risk Assessments, Annual Compliance Plans, and Manuals

    • Oversee adherence to regulations, laws, and rules relevant to asset management, in addition to ensuring compliance with Group policies, standards, and global best practices for compliance operations

    • Ensure compliance with Anti-Money Laundering and Anti-Bribery & Corruption laws, regulations, and group policies

    • Provide oversight to maintain an effective control environment that minimizes compliance risks

    • Offer advice, guidance, and ongoing training to staff on the proper implementation of the compliance framework, including policies and procedures found in the Compliance Manual, internal codes of conduct, and practice guidelines

    • Inform various units and departments about the implications of new regulations or regulatory changes, and provide guidance on the timely implementation of procedures to comply with these requirements

    • Monitor, test, and report compliance with relevant compliance risk management frameworks and internal policies/procedures to the Board of Directors, Senior Management, Group Compliance, and regulatory authorities if necessary

    • Conduct Compliance Reviews to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies and guidelines

    • Coordinate the bank's responses to information requests and consultation papers from regulators

    • Perform other tasks as assigned by the directors
